LIFE Information Event

Defra and the UK LIFE National Contact Point, Beta Technology, are organising two afternoon information events (approx. 2pm – 5pm, exact timings to be confirmed) to present information on the European Union’s LIFE Programme.

The Programme is open to all organisations, in particular, local government, charities, NGOs and SMEs and provides funding for nature conservation, climate change measures and improving the environment through raising awareness and the novel use of technologies. 
The programme is divided into two sub-programmes, 'Environment' and 'Climate Action' and an information session is taking place for each area.
