Heating and Cooling in the EU Energy Transition

The heating and cooling sector accounts for half of the EU's energy consumption. The conference is the opportunity to discuss with European and national policy makers, representatives from industry, businesses and consumers' representative bodies, professional organisations, NGOs, local and national authorities, academia, research institutions and relevant international organisations, on the issues facing the heating and cooling sector.

The conference deals with the heating and cooling sector, its role in achieving the EU's climate and energy objectives and its participation in the energy transition.The programme of the conference includes heating and cooling for industry, for buildings, its financing, like a vision for 2050, the technology chalenge, building heat markets.
On Wednesday 25 February 2015 side events relevant to the conference's topic are organised by stakeholders.
One of the event's themes is aimed directly at energy efficient buildings: Increasing energy efficiency in buildings for a competitive Europe Energy efficiency. Compulsory registration at the events (somewhere only by 18 February), contacts in the programme.
