European Association of local authorities Energy Cities helds workshop Financing SEAP actions for energy security. Workshop aims to identify sufficient financial sources and human capacities, city energy saving potential, develop bankable projects and implement innovative financing schemes.
Objectives of this workshop are to show cities:
- Where to find financial sources enabling their energy transition which in return contributes to Europe’s energy independence
- How to set up and manage innovative financing schemes (revolving mechanisms, loans, guarantee schemes, EPC, etc.) incentivising citizens’ and local stakeholders and triggering private investments.
- How to set up effective partnerships with financial and private sector as well as Slovak SIF managing authorities.
